FAQs

Before you get in touch

What information should I include in my enquiry?

The postcode, the type of property and the rooms or areas involved are the most useful starting points. If you have an existing system, the make, model and any error codes help too. Photos of the rooms and possible outdoor unit positions can be shared once we reply.

Is the quotation free?

Yes. Requesting a quotation is free and there is no obligation to go ahead. We’ll explain what is included, and you can take time to compare options or check consents with your freeholder or landlord before deciding.

Do you need to visit before quoting?

For most installations a survey is the best way to confirm unit positions, pipe routes, drainage and electrical requirements. For simpler jobs we may be able to give initial guidance from photos and measurements, followed by a confirmed quotation.

Getting the Most From Your Enquiry and Survey

A little information up front helps us give useful advice quickly and makes the survey visit shorter and more productive.

Details that help us respond accurately

Tell us the type of property, which rooms or areas you want to cool or heat, roughly how large they are and what the problem is: overheating in summer, a cold room in winter, or an existing system that is faulty or noisy. If you already have equipment, the make and model and any error codes are very helpful.

Photos are useful

Pictures of the room, the external wall and any likely outdoor unit positions let us flag obvious constraints before visiting.

Commercial premises

Floor plans, landlord or building-management contacts and preferred working hours help us plan surveys and installations around your business.

Preparing for the survey visit

Make sure we can reach the rooms involved, the external walls or roof areas where an outdoor unit might go and your consumer unit or distribution board. If you live in a flat, it helps to have your lease or the managing agent’s alteration rules to hand.

  • Clear access to windows and external walls
  • Know where your fuse board is
  • Have any freeholder or landlord requirements ready

After you receive your quotation

Take your time to compare options and seek any consents you need. If you want to change the scope, for example adding a room, choosing a different indoor unit style or upgrading controls, we can revise the quotation before anything is booked.
